The Betterway vision guidance system integrates machine vision inspection technology and industrial robot kinematics, enabling it to adjust motion trajectories in real time according to changes in the workpiece being handled. This improves production efficiency and quality, breaking through the limitation that robots can only repeat pre-taught trajectories.
By using multi-view vision, stable high-precision 3D feature points are generated, which is suitable for deep-frame scenarios where there is a large gap between the teaching position and the photographing position.
Through camera imaging combined with the 3D information of the part itself, precise positioning of the part in 6 degrees of freedom relative to its initial state is realized (3 positional directions and 3 rotational angles).
The system features a compact structure and small sensor size, compatible with both mobile and fixed installations. It can be mounted on the robot’s 6th axis or via a fixed bracket.
At present, the system adopts vision camera imaging + high-performance vision processor + 3D guidance algorithm to complete spatial guidance and grasping. It has been deployed and operated efficiently at customer sites including BYD, Changan, and Xiaomi Auto.
