The TXL explosion-proof mechanical safety interlock is an electromechanical safety interlock. It uses a key installed at the switch body opening to detect the movement of the protective door. Because of its diverse contact configurations, and with door-closed detection and door-locking functions, the safety interlock is usually the most cost-effective solution. Moreover, due to the use of a flexible key that increases its misalignment tolerance, it has a wide range of applications.

The TXL explosion-proof mechanical safety interlock allows the switch head to rotate 90° four times, the key can be inserted into the switch in 7 different positions, and the electromagnet can be selected to operate either energized or de-energized, providing various options for the switch's working mode and installation method on the protective door. This enhances the flexibility of the switch, making it suitable for use on various doors.
