With the help of Tronovo TR7300 electrostatic field strength meter, this demonstration visually presents the process of electrostatic generation, polarity judgment and elimination.
At the beginning of the demonstration, the equipment is zeroed, the reading is stable at 0.05kV, and it is in a static-free state. Subsequently, the acrylic parts and metal parts are repeatedly rubbed, and the electric charge is accumulated on the surface of the acrylic through the contact electrification effect, and the field strength count increases with the number of friction, which verifies the process of triboelectric.
When the charged acrylic is close to the tester, the field strength meter quickly displays the reading of-1.9kV, which clearly shows the charge polarity and electric field strength, and intuitively reflects the existence of electrostatic field.
Finally, the charged acrylic parts are grounded and discharged, and the field strength count value quickly falls back to -0.01kV, nearly zero, completing the static elimination demonstration.
